There are a lot of different marketing schemes that companies use in their attempts to make there products or services more attractive than those of there competitors. The marketing scheme that seems to be the current fad among companies that provide home telecommunications services is the idea of the bundled service package. With bundled service packages, a company can provide two or more telecommunications services that are billed on a single monthly statement and at a discounted rate. Unlike a lot of marketing schemes that companies come up with, bundled service packages have a lot of real benefits for customers. This is especially true when they're done well. For example, the customers have the convenience of dealing with only one bill every month rather than two, three, or even more bills. The customers also experience the benefit of saving money through the discounts that are often offered in conjunction with having services bundled together. Comcast bundled services package is one example of a company that does a good job of bundling its telecommunications services together.

There are a lot of other companies out there that are offering bundled telecommunications services, and many of them don't do as good of a job in this area as Comcast. For example, one of the areas in which you'll see companies short change their customers where bundled services are involved concerns where the services actually come from. That's because many companies will offer services that they're incapable of providing and then bring in another company- with whom they have a pre-existing contract- to take care of these services. Of course this is all above board and still offers the convenience of a single monthly statement and most often comes with a discount, but it also opens up a much greater possibility that the companies involved will be able to shirk their customer service responsibilities.

For example, if you get your TV through a satellite TV service and your high speed Internet through a satellite Internet service, chances are that both will use the same satellite dish. If something goes wrong with one service or the other- or possibly both- the companies could blame each other. Each company could claim that the problem is the other company's responsibility to solve, and you'd be stuck without service!

Even if companies don't pass the buck when it comes to customer service, there's still a good chance that you'll have to deal with several different companies for customer service as any given time. For example, if you want help with your phone service and your TV service, you'll have to be on hold waiting to talk to one company and then repeat that waste of time with the other company. With Comcast though, you can take care of all of your concerns with one call.

Comcast Triple Play also provides better service because it uses superior technologies and doesn't mix and match technologies like other services. The superior technologies used by Comcast include broad band cable high speed Internet, digital cable TV, and a proprietary phone plan. All of these offer more stability, value, and reliability than many other technologies.

In short, while bundled services are a good deal for consumers, consumers also need to pay attention to the details of the bundled service packages that they subscribe to.
